Teruru Dungeon Association, the president’s office.

Me and Cell, facing each other alone.

“And that’s why. I’m sorry to report this after the fact, but I’ve decided to leave it to Eve for a while.” (Ryouta)

“Okay.” (Cell)

“You accept it easily, don’t you?” (Ryouta)

“I have no objection to what you are doing, Satou-sama.” (Cell)

“I’m not so sure about that.” (Ryouta)

 I laughed.

It’s nice and easy to trust someone, but I’m not sure it’s the same as blind faith.

“I’m proud to say that I understand Satou-sama better than anyone else.” (Cell)

“What the hell is that?” (Ryouta)

For a moment I thought about poking him, but then I realized that Cell was looking at me very seriously, and I didn’t poke him.

“Satou-sama usually likes to take the hard way. It is a prior investment to be able to choose an easier path when the time comes.” (Cell)

“Well, yeah.” (Ryouta)

It’s a bit of a misnomer to say the hard way or the easy way, but it’s true.

I’m not talking about repetition, I’m talking about developing your judgement and technique in conventional combat.

“I have made many requests to Satou-sama, and each time he has done his best to solve the problem.” (Cell)

“A lot has happened.” (Ryouta)

“It’s just that Satou-sama decided that using that girl was the best way to go. You can’t argue with that.” (Cell)

“…… I see.” (Ryouta)

In the beginning, I thought it was a tweak, but when I listened to it all the way through, it made more sense.

“Thank you, for taking that into account.” (Ryouta)

“You must have been very good at this.” (Cell)

“Seeing the two hit it off like that …… makes me feel like I should just leave it to her completely.” (Ryouta)

 I chuckled again.

I don’t know much about Californium yet, but I do know that Eve —– I don’t know much about Eve either, to be honest, but I’ve seen a lot of her behavioural principles.

Carrots and low levels are still superficial.

Eve is – at any rate – unflappable.

She knows what’s most important, and she’s not going to pander to anyone who doesn’t.

 That’s who she is.

She’s the kind of person that you’d be surprised how well you hit it off with.

It makes me feel like I should leave it to her.

“It may take a little while.” (Ryouta)

“No problem. It’s nothing urgent.” (Cell)

“Thank you.” (Ryouta)

“I should be the one thanking you.” (Cell)

We looked at each other and nodded at each other.

I remembered the chemistry between Californium and Eve, and how they had behaved when they had met.

I was quite relieved that I could leave it to Eve and there would be no problem.

After leaving the dungeon association, I came back to the mansion.

When I walked in the door, Vanadium came running in, flapping its slippers.

“…… (smiling)” (Vanadium)

“I’m home. Vanadium, are you alone?” (Ryouta)

“…… (Shake shake).” (Vanadium)

Vanadium, who had grabbed my hem and looked up at me, shook her head quietly and gestured with her hands to make an ear shape on her head.

“So Eve’s back.” (Ryouta)

“…… (Nods).” (Vanadium)

I came to the salon, hand in hand with Vanadium.

Eve was there, and she was relaxing in her place.

“I’m home. I see you’re already back.” (Ryouta)

“Yes.” (Eve)

“How was it? Californium.” (Ryouta)

“I came to say I’m sorry about low level.” (Eve)

“Hmm? What do you mean you’re sorry, ……?” (Ryouta)

It’s all so sudden, I can’t get my head around it.

I didn’t immediately realise what Eve meant by “came” to say.

“I can’t be around low-level people.” (Eve)

“Go to ……?” (Ryouta)

“The dungeon mismatch.” (Eve)

“What a nostalgic word! Wait a minute!” (Ryouta)

“Rabbit lied about it. Not exactly.” (Eve)

“Huh?” (Ryouta)

“There and dungeon agree.” (Eve)

Eve stood up and looked straight at me, her eyes were very, very serious.

It was the most serious I’ve ever seen.

“…………” (Ryouta)

I was at a loss for words.

You can leave Californium to me, that’s how compatible we are.

I was not wrong in thinking that.

The chemistry was a bit beyond my imagination.
